VALUE BET KERMADEC (Randwick – Race 7 No. 1):had plenty of excuses in the Doncaster. Placings in the Canterbury and George Ryder stakes at first two runs back certainly good enough for this.The history books say Malaguerra won’t be able to handle the jump from a Group III handicap win into a Group I weight-for-age so I’m happy to take him on and at the $8 on offer Kermadec is a great each way all day bet!
