BRAZEN BEAU TO TACKLE DIAMOND JUBILEE

Confirmation that Brazen Beau will race in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot.
“In the end some consideration was given to running in both the Kings Stand and the Diamond Jubilee,” said Grant Morgan of Ontrack Thoroughbreds, Managing Part Owner and Syndicator of Brazen Beau.

“The Kings Stand was a strong possibility during planning stages but as Brazen Beau has continued to tick every box during his preparation the Diamond Jubilee swung back into favour.”

“The weather forecast looks ok for a Good to Firm track for the Saturday, any rain that is predicted at this stage seems more likely for early in the week.

“Chris felt that running in the Kings Stand could leave him flat for the Diamond Jubilee.”

“He has an outstanding 1200m record up the straight and he has been strong through the line in both his Group 1 wins.”

“He also has a Group 1 second over a mile as a two year-old, so he has both the speed and stamina to handle the Ascot 6 furlong course,” said Morgan.”

A group of close to 90 owners, family and friends have started to arrive in the UK as part of Team Brazen Beau to support the star colt.

The original ownership group consists of 38 people who are based in four states of Australia as well as the UK and Fiji.

Craig Williams will partner Brazen Beau with regular rider Joao Moreira unavailable for the ride due to commitments to the Hong Kong Jockey Club on Sunday.

All the best to connections and outstanding syndicate manager Grant Morgan. GO THE BEAU!!!
