ANGELS BEACH (Caulfield – Race 7 No. 10):
This five-year-old mare loves Caulfield and is always advantaged when she draws a gate. Has come up with the inside barrier on Saturday after having to work too hard early off a wide gate in the Monash Stakes here last start when only gunned down late by the flying Miss Promiscuity. Has had one previous try around this track/distance which resulted in a win. She’s going to run a mighty race.
RADICAL (Caulfield – Race 8 No. 8):
A few things to look for when deciding on your best bet of the day. Top stable, top jockey, good barrier. Radical is trained by Peter Moody, ridden by Damien Oliver and jumps from barrier two. Tick, tick, tick. In top form winning two of his past three starts and was luckless at his Flemington defeat when held-up in the straight. Maps to get all the favours here and appears perfectly placed on 56kg. If you’re only going to have one bet on Saturday, we suggest backing Radical!
