Race 3 No. 3 – Popular Kid – Prepared to take a chance on the Desormeaux brothers here. In what on paper appears to be a very open first turf race of the season. Second start for new connections, was held up last time out and since been gelded. Outstanding EW chance 8-1
Race 4 No. 3 – Pretty Owl – On debut for world class Trainer/Jockey combo of Baffert & Smith, has been very impressive in workouts, interestingly Smith has only a very selective pick of rides for the meet and this horse is bred to win. 3-1
Race 5 No. 6 – Tyfosha – Very promising filly who finished 2nd in here only start, the winner went on to win a stakes race at her next outing. Thats good enough form for this. 3-1
Race 8 No. 1 – Arms Runner – Unbeaten on the turf in 2 starts, his turn off foot last outing was very impressive. Hard to beat. 4-1
