Kentucky Derby Qualified Field + Race Replays

With final Kentucky Derby preps completed over the weekend, a clear picture of who will run in the May 5 race at Churchill Downs formed. As for who will win it, however, there’s no consensus. The Kentucky Derby is front-loaded with horses oozing with star potential, and this may be the deepest Kentucky Derby we’ve seen in a long time. Which makes complete sense, I’ve been saying over the past 5 years we have had standout superstars but have they been a touch over rated? We must remember the economic impact and time lag that the economy has on not just racing but breeding. In my opinion we are just beginning to resurface the competitiveness from a decade ago. Very exciting edition of the Kentucky Derby lies ahead.
