Atlanta Braves vs. LA Dodgers Game 6
Make that 4-0 for the L.A. Dodgers when playing in a elimination game this post season. Game 5 oof the NLCS was a do-or-die game for the Dodgers and they delivered. After going down 3-1 in the series they had a major comeback winning 11-2 Friday night against the Atlanta Braves to improve to 3-2 in a best-of-seven series and fought to see another day.
Chris Taylor and AJ Pollock definitely ate their Wheaties that morning. Taylor went yard three times and ran in six then Pollock hit two home runs and drove in three runs Friday to secure the 11-2 lopsided win at home. While Atlanta only had one home run from Freddy Freeman they were only able to force two points on the scoreboard in game 5. It was a team effort for the Dodgers bullpen to hold a talented Braves team to only two runs. L.A. used seven different pitchers in their win all not allowing runs except for Joe Kelly who went down with a bicep injury. As for Atlanta their four pictures could have been replaced by a pinball machine.
L.A. now must travel to Atlanta for game 6 where they get two more chances to defend their World Series title. L.A. again have their backs against the wall and that’s when they are at their absolute best. However, Atlanta is looking to clinch the NLCS pennant and advance to the World Series for the first time since 1999. As mentioned before, this is similar territory for the Dodgers. Last postseason they trailed 3-1 in the 2020 NLCS against Atlanta and roared back four straight games to eventually be crowned the best team in baseball. We will see how things unfold in Atlanta but very high possibility we will get our game 7 we always hope for..

Atlanta Braves vs. LA Dodgers Game 5
The L.A. Dodgers have just been pushed to the brink of elimination after another failed pitching plan. Urias was not in sync and failed multiple times to put his team into a position to win. The Atlanta Braves thumped the Dodgers 9-2 in Wednesday’s win to hold a commanding 3-1 lead in the NLCS.

Rosario homered twice in his second four-hit game of the NLCS and six different pitchers for the Braves combined on a four-hitter to lead Atlanta to a 9-2 win over the Dodgers. L.A. just could not string together any stops nor swing to get enough scores. For Julio Urias’ start; he allowed eight hits, five runs, and only three strikeouts in five innings. The game was already in Atlanta’s favor when Urias was benched after leaving his squad down 5-0 in the fifth inning. The rest is history as the Braves kept their foot on L.A.’s throat and took a daunting 3-1 series lead.
Game 5 is Thursday in Los Angeles where the Atlanta Braves look to clinch a pennant.

Dodgers stormed back with the help of Bellinger tying the game with a three-run homer and Mookie Betts then drove in a RBI double in the eighth inning. Most of the 50,000 fans left when this occurred. This was the turning point of the game and swung the momentum severely in L.A.’s favor.
Game 4 will be held at Dodgers stadium at 6:08p.m. (MST). The Braves look to extend their lead of Los Angeles and if they do it would be very hard but not impossible to for the Dodgers to survive multiple elimination games. They are 3-0 when it comes to do-or-die games just this postseason. During the playoffs the Dodgers are averaging a .241 batting average, 2.73 ERA, and outscored opponents by nine runs. The Braves are averaging .252 batting average, 2.66 ERA, and out scored opponents by seven runs.

Atlanta Braves vs. LA Dodgers Game 3
Game 3 of 7 between the LA Dodgers and the Atlanta Braves will more than likely be a tight one. The Braves lead the series 2-0 but in each of those wins they won by just one score.
