NBA Finals Odds to Win & Game by Game previews can be found here for every NBA Matchup for the 2019 NBA finals. It feels like an echo and very much predicted NBA finals, well at least for the Golden State Warriors. However for the first time in five straight NBA Finals the Warriors won’t face Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers, instead will head to Toronto and be on the road for game 1. The Kawhi Leonard led Toronto Raptors will have home court advantage thanks to a lone regular-season victory. Games 1, 2, 5 and 7 are set for Scotiabank Arena should the series go the distance. This is the first time a team outside the US has ever made the finals, making it the first for Toronto.
Betting the NBA Finals – When taking into account any future bets it’s important to take into account some very relevant data. Not many playoff series, in The Finals or otherwise, go the distance. Only 134 (25 percent) of the 542 best-of-seven series in NBA history have been decided in Game 7. And in only 21 (16 percent) of those has the home team won all seven games. Overall, the road team has picked off at least one game 96 percent of the time in best-of-seven playoff series. Golden State has won at least one road game in 22 consecutive series, going back to the first round in 2013 (the first playoff series for Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green). In other words you shouldn’t be worried about backing the Golden State warriors on the road.

The Final game at Oracle arena will see the Golden State Warriors look to even the NBA Finals at three games apiece when they host the Toronto Raptors on Thursday in Game 6 of the potential seven-game series. Toronto had the opportunity to close it out on Monday but suffered a 106-105 home loss during a contest that went down to the final missed shot by Kyle Lowry. These two teams are very evenly matched, with the NBA odds to win reflecting that with Toronto narrow favorites to take the trophy to Toronto. The Warriors are still banged up and the hot start in Game 5 was contributed by Kevin Durant who is now in surgery and may have played his last game in a Golden State uniform. He spaced the floor and was lights out hitting 11 early points. Its down to the splash brothers at oracle and with the Home Court advantage, the need to secure the win for KD and send off the fans I think that take this one to game 7. Toronto have won 3 in a row at Oracle, but that has just condensed the market and makes the home team value money line.
Scorecast Warriors 107 Raptors 104
The Raptors showed up and balled out in Game 2 as predicted, with Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant watching on from the sidelines. KD is officially out of Game 4, whilst Klay is expected to play. Demarcus Cousins clearly was sore from Game 2 where he was forced to play a high volume 28 minutes on return due to the injury of Kevon Looney. In Game 3 Cousins clearly had no lift and therefore no impact, and was showing the affects of his long term injury. That said the Warriors were not completely blown out, Stephen Curry was amazing and given Toronto were lights ut from the 3 point line on there best shooting night of the NBA playoffs, it’s hard to see them replicating that performance. The Warriors bounce back (if Klay plays) to even up the series 2-2 at Oracle, the value is now with the Warriors to win the Series +100.
Scorecast Warriors 111 Raptors 105
Were all tied up as the series exits Toronto for Oracle arena. So far we have been treated to an exciting even series, with the odds to win still heavily reflecting the Warriors as favorites. Game 3 is pivotal in this 7 game series, especially for the Warriors. Kevin Durant is already out and unlikely to return for Game 4, Kevon Looney is now also out for the series and Klay Thompson is a concern for Game 3 with a hamstring strain. I can’t tell you how important that is, not just offensively but defensively. The Warriors were destroyed in transition defense in Game 1, with Klay Thompson being the man to turn that around and matchup on Kawhi Leonard. Even if he does play, his affect on defense could not possible be anywhere near the same. Demarcus Cousins was forced to play 28 minutes with the injury to Looney and he couldn’t possibly be fully fit and feeling the affects of that. In essence this Warriors team is banged up! The Raptors come in hungry and health and steal Game 3 at Oracle. Kawhi leonard will have a big night and the injuries mounting up to the Warriors the main reason for defeat. Raptors outstanding value +6 ATS and +220 Money line.
Scorecast Warriors 102 Raptors 105
Toronto shot 50.6 percent from the floor and got strong performances from the likes of Pascal Siakam, Kawhi Leonard and Marc Gasol in a 118-109 Game 1 triumph. Game 1 was one of the more bizarre Golden State/Steve Kerr Warriors games i’ve ever seen. The Warriors looked out coached, gave up wide open 3 point shots and played no transition defense. They showed the Raptors no respect. Expect that to change in Game 2! That won’t sustain and I anticipate a high energy revitalized Warriors outfit to take the floor in Toronto. The Raptors may have won the first matchup of the Finals, but all that achieved was the Warriors respect and they hit the floor running tonight.
Scorecast Warriors 109 Raptors 104
The Golden State Warriors come into this winning 6 in a row and 8 of there last 10. They have a chip on there shoulder and a point to prove after the injury to Kevin Durant and have been nothing short of sensational since adopting the small ball lineup. The Raptors were well coached in stopping Giannis Antetokounmpo and in doing so closed the series against the Milwaukee Bucks. I just don’t see how the likes of Marc Gasol and Serge Ibaka can have the same effect against Klay Thompson, Stephen Curry and Draymond Green. They boxed in the greek freak and found a way to win, I just don’t see that happening against a team with so many shooting options, ball flow and Finals experience. We are getting value at +100 for the Warriors to win on the road, lets not forget Golden State have won 6 in a row against the two best teams in the Western Conference. Warriors win Game 1 and set the tone for the series.
