NFL Schedule, Score Predictions and Best Bets for Week 13 from our Top Rated Handicapper.

There’s still five weeks to go, but we’ve got a pretty clear idea on the four Super Bowl contenders heading towards the playoffs. Or do we? The Saints, Rams, Chiefs & Patriots sit on top of Super Bowl betting. Just outside the bubble sit the Steelers and the Chargers who meet each other in a blockbuster Sunday Night Football matchup. I still have strong doubts that the style of football from the Rams and Chiefs can win in January, The Saints just got banged up by Dallas and Tom Brady and the misfits are hard to trust. We could see by Monday morning a huge betting move for either the Chargers or the Steelers to win the Super bowl. All the talk about Patrick Mahomes and Kansas city has led to Philip Rivers and the Chargers being the NFL’s forgotten team. They have no home field advantage, get back Joey Bosa and are only 1 win off leading the division. The Steelers are currently -4 at home and I think this is great value for the Chargers. The obvious caveat is the absence of Chargers running back Melvin Gordon (knee), however the numbers suggest they’ll be just fine with Austin Ekeler getting most of the carries. He’s got 763 total yards already this season and is part of the reason why the Chargers average 153 yards per game on the road, which has equated to a 4-1 ATS road record. Good running teams always travel well. Pittsburgh lost an important game last week and Steelers RB James Conner (849 yards) has only 143 over the past three games after compiling four straight 100-yard outings. The Chargers get a big road win in this one but the Best bet is the Chargers and the points +4. According to Scorecast with over 10,000 score simulations run the Chargers win by a field goal. As for the rest, the Wild Card picture in both the AFC and NFC is wide open, leaving plenty of questions left to be answered now that the bye weeks are said and done.

It’s back to regular scheduling this week, which means more odds, more betting, and more winners.
