NFL wild card weekend was magnificent. Sensational football that resulted in a 4-0 +1600 profit for Sportsbet Magazine subscribers as we correctly predicted all games and scorecast was within 2 points in 3 games. Not to mention that only one favorite won on the weekend. This week looks a lot tougher, but the value is present.
The Super Bowl is within reach for one of this week’s finalists, but after a week off for the likes of the Chiefs, Patriots, Rams and Saints, are we in for another round of upsets?
Four outstanding NFL matchups await us this weekend and NFL fans can’t wait. Below find our NFL Schedule, Score Predictions and Best Bets for Divisional playoff weekend from our Top Rated Handicapper.
The Colts were fantastic rolling over the Texans last week and come into this game winning 11 of their last 12. Andrew Luck was lights out from the first snap, finishing with 222-yards and a pair of touchdowns in the 21-7 rout. The Chiefs are off a bye and at home and history tells us thats a lock. They have struggled slightly since the departure of Kareem Hunt, but the Colts defense who on paper look outstanding have not faced a top 5 offense since week 5. Yes they lost. The Colts are a dome team on the road in cold weather against the best offense in the NFL.
Scorecast Kansas City Chiefs 35 – Colts 24
The Rams come into this one well-rested and ready to make up for last year’s 26-13 no-show against the Falcons. Los Angeles ranked second in the league in points-per-game during the regular season, and with a now healthy Todd Gurley to rely on, it’s no surprise to see the Rams at the shorter odds playing at home. Dallas fell over the line against Seattle last week and are the first team to not have a starter over 30 in 31 years. The key to this game is the Cowboys road record, a miserable 3-5 and lack of experience.
Top Rated Handicapper Best Bet – The Rams -6.5
Scorecast Los Angeles Rams 30 – Dallas Cowboys 21
Take Tom Brady out of this game and the Chargers are favorites by 14. The line started at 5.5 and has now corrected itself to 4. The Patriots are favorites and undefeated at home, the Chargers undefeated outside of Los Angeles. The Chargers have the best roster in the NFL and continue to be given no respect in betting. The Patriots are a different beast at home and will rely on Brady’s brilliance. This is going to be one hell of a battle! With poor weather in the forecast the run game looks to be heavy relied on, the Chargers go 3 deep at running back and the Pats are just 1-4 when giving up 150 rushing yards.
Top Rated Handicapper Best Bet Chargers +5.5 -110
Scorecast New England Patriots 21 – Los Angeles Chargers 24
Do you think the Saints’ 48-7 home win over the Eagles in November is still relevant? That was the stick-a-fork-in-the-Eagles moment. The Saints were only -7 then. The Eagles got their mojo and St Nick back and they’ve been playing wild-card games for the last four weeks and 4-0 ATS. But now with all this data of the current Eagles, I’m getting +8.5? Meanwhile, the Saints are 1-4 against the spread in their last five games. The starters took Week 17 off and had last week off, as well. Rust? This game is close can go either way, but the point spread is completely off taking into account data not relevant to the past month.
Scorecast New Orleans Saints 35 – Philadelphia Eagles 34
