Punters have been sorting out the chances and value in pre-post markets on Saturday’s meeting at Moonee Valley with some solid pushes in early betting.
Winx has been the big firmer in Cox Plate betting over the past 24 hours.
The meeting will start at 12.40pm (AEDT) on a track rated good (4). The rail is in the three metre position.
The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast a mostly sunny day. The expected top temperature is 21 degrees.
As usual Moonee Valley can be a very pace bias track, we always prefer to get a good feel for track conditions and bias in the first few events before laying down the big dollars..
Race 2 no 6 Tawteen – Track specialist has been well supported $4.50 into $3.60
Race 8 no 1 Lucky Hussler – Still right at his peak for just three runs back and well in at WFA. Well supported $2.70 into $2.10
Race 9 no 14 Winx – Waller – Bowman combine the 4yo has been heavily supported $7.5 into $5 and has been the best backed runner on the card
