WORLD SERIES – Why The CUBS Win Game 7

The Cubs have taken momentum in the World Series and I expect nothing less from them in game 7. There’s a lot of discussion about the pitching for Cleveland, but I think the Cubs offense is going to prove to be the difference here. Chicago got much better swings on Kluber in Game 4 than they did in Game 1, but just missed out on some opportunities. They had a runner on in 5 of the 6 innings Kluber went in Game 4. I also don’t think we are hearing enough here about Hendricks, who has allowed just 3 runs in 20 2/3 innings in the postseason. It’s also worth keeping in mind he was an afterthought in Game 6 in the NLDS against Kershaw and he pitched the game of his life, allowing just 2 hits over 7 1/3 scoreless innings. Cubs to break the curse!
